About SoulCare Space

Psychology, made human.

Why we exist, what we believe, and the people behind the work.

Our Story

Why SoulCare Space exists

SoulCare Space began with a simple observation: too many people wait years before seeking psychological support — not because they don't need it, but because mental health care can feel clinical, distant, or reserved for crisis. We wanted to build something different: a space that feels as warm and considered as the people who walk through it.

We are a psychological care organisation — not a single practice built around one name. That distinction matters to us. It means SoulCare Space is designed to grow: more clinicians, more publications, more free resources, more ways for people to find the support that fits them, without ever losing the personal, unhurried care that defines a good therapeutic relationship.

Not everyone who comes to us is in crisis. Some are searching for clarity. Others are rebuilding after loss. Many simply want to understand themselves a little better. SoulCare Space exists to meet all of that with the same quiet care.

Our Mission

To make evidence-based psychological care accessible, dignified, and genuinely helpful — for individuals, couples, families, and organisations navigating every stage of the human experience.

Our Vision

A future where seeking psychological support is as ordinary as seeing any other healthcare professional — and where SoulCare Space is a trusted name in that shift, across Kenya and beyond.

What We Stand For

Our core values

Evidence-Based

Every approach we use is grounded in established psychological research, not trends.

Compassion First

We meet every person without judgment, at whatever stage they arrive.

Confidentiality

What's shared with us stays protected, always, within the limits the law requires.

Education

Understanding yourself is part of healing — so we teach as much as we treat.

Accessibility

Care designed to meet you where you are — in person, online, or through free resources.

Growth

Ours and yours — we treat this as a practice we're always refining, together with the people we serve.

Philosophy of Care

How we think about healing

We believe healing happens in relationship — with a trained professional, with a community, and with yourself. That's why our work extends beyond the therapy room: into the books we publish, the articles we write, and the workshops we run. Each is designed to hold you between sessions, not just during them.

We also believe healing isn't about fixing who you are. It's about understanding your story, rediscovering your strength, and moving forward with confidence — at your pace, on your terms.

Why Choose Us

What makes SoulCare Space different

An organisation, not one name

Built to grow with more clinicians over time, so continuity of care isn't tied to any one person.

Free crisis support

Suicide prevention support is offered at no cost — because that shouldn't ever be a barrier.

Education you can act on

A growing Learning Hub and our own publications, so support doesn't end when the session does.

In-person and online

Care that adapts to your life, not the other way around.
