SoulCare Space ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy, particularly given the sensitive nature of the support we provide. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it.
When you book an appointment, we collect your full name, email address, phone number (optional), and — if you choose to share it — a brief reason for your visit. For paid sessions, payment is handled entirely by our payment processor, Paystack; we never receive or store your card number or M-Pesa PIN. If you contact us through our website form, we collect whatever information you choose to include in that message.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Anything you share with us in connection with booking or attending a session — including your reason for visit, and anything discussed during a session itself — is treated as confidential clinical information, held to the same standard of confidentiality described in our clinical practice, not merely as routine website data. Access is limited to the SoulCare Space team members directly involved in your care.
Each of these providers only receives the information necessary to perform their specific function, and is bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
Booking records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for clinical continuity, accounting, and legal record-keeping purposes. You may request earlier deletion of non-clinical booking data (see "Your rights" below); clinical records are retained in line with standard professional record-keeping obligations.
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion of information we're not legally or professionally required to retain. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across this site, access-controlled cloud infrastructure, and secure handling of any credentials or keys involved in our booking system. No system is completely immune to risk, but we take this seriously given what we're entrusted with.
Our services are intended for adults and, where appropriate, minors accompanied by a parent or guardian's involvement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated revision date at the top of this page.
Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your personal information, can be sent to hello@soulcare.co.ke or +254 742 902 936.
This policy is a general-purpose template and does not constitute legal advice. Given that this site now processes payments and sensitive booking information, we strongly recommend having this policy reviewed by a qualified lawyer to confirm it meets your obligations under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, and any other applicable regulations, before relying on it.
